We ask you to be part of a special invited audience for the workshop phase of Strange Voyage April 4 – 6 at 7:30pm. You will be a witness to the creation process of a dramatic journey as our playwright and ensemble research and develop the text. The evening will be an opportunity for artists and audiences to see the process in development. The workshop presentation includes a discussion with the ensemble, playwright and you as the audience. In addition, Pangea will be providing wine and cheese, and hope for the spring.

About the performance:

Frank Falconhead sets out on a solo voyage around the world, leaving his wife and children behind. Participating in a race that promises fame, fortune and adventure, Frank sets out to circumnavigate the world. Realizing halfway through the journey that both he and his boat are barely prepared for the race, he concocts an alternate reality for the media and people waiting for him on the shore. Based on a true story, the play explores the journey of family members, friends and Frank himself as he battles internal and external storms.
