Maura Comparato

Maura Comparato is interning with Pangea world theater through Macalester College during the 2024-25 academic year. At Macalester, Maura is in her final year of his degree in Sociology and American Studies. Maura grew up in Carbondale, Illinois, and has since moved to Saint Paul for school. Her main mediums of art include visual arts and music, which she sees as essential in forming strong and enduring community. Their interests include building spaces for trans and queer individuals to find themselves through expression, whether through art, organizing, community, or other means. Maura’s free time largely consists of biking, making art, cooking, enjoying nature, or hanging out with the animals in his life.
