Sarah N. Duncan

(she/her/hers)

Communications Coordinator and Graphic Designer

Sarah N. Duncan is a visual artist, parent, graphic designer, gardener, and friend whose interdisciplinary works explore themes of identity such as queerness, heritage, parenting, and ecology using storytelling to express her truths through varying lenses and media. She adores beautiful things, hard topics, and moving waters. Currently, she’s working on a series that explores hidden histories and her imaginings of her people on this land — her German and Polish immigrant, Dakota, and French-Canadian fur trapper ancestors. Who were they? What choices did they make and why? What harm and tending did they do?
