Café con Pan

Café con Pan is a monthly event that is organized by LUCA (Latin@s Unidos por la Cultura y el Arte) bringing art and culture to Plaza Centenario, on the corner of 12th Avenue and Lake Street. Events are family friendly and hosted by various groups that form part of the coalition. We always have hot coffee and breads of various kinds. Café con Pan happens the third Saturday of each month, 1200 East Lake. 


LUCA lead member organizations include Club Morelos, Cuernavacas, Axochiapan, Indigenous Roots, Community Engagement Team, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Pangea World Theater.

  • Saturday, June 16 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm (Summer Solstice Celebration)

  • Sunday, July 22 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm (Open Streets)

  • Saturday, August 4 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm (Zapata Celebration)

 

Café con Pan es un evento mensual organisado por LUCA (Latin@s Unidos por la Cultura y el Arte) trayendo arte y cultura a la Plaza Centenario, en la esquina de la avenida 12 y la calle Lake. Eventos son familiares con diferentes grupos presentando. Siempre tenemos café caliente y pan. Café con Pan sucede el tercer sábado de cada mes, 1200 East Lake.

LUCA Artist Call Out!

 

LUCA is searching for Latinx artists and cultural community groups grounded in the Latinx community to participate in our monthly Café con Pan events with their artistic craft. Our aim is to celebrate Latinx art and culture and to offer family-friendly activities to the Plaza Centenario on Lake Street and 12th Avenue in Minneapolis, MN.
