Lake Street Arts! Sky Collage Workshop

Join Pangea World Theater and artist Keegan Xavi in creating Earth & Sky collages, inspired by our collective experiences since the events of 2020, and drawing inspiration from Lake Street itself. Participants are invited to attend one or both workshops and contribute to collages that Xavi will complete: one collage shaping these ideas with the theme of “Sky” and another uniting these ideas under the theme of “Earth”. These two finished collages will become part of a larger piece printed by Pangea Theater as part of their Lake Street Arts! Programming. The workshops will introduce participants to collage making techniques and all supplies are provided.

Throughout 2022-2023 Lake Street Arts! continues to offer free Artist led workshops in dance, theater, creative writing, clay and visual art that archive people's experiences with the Coronavirus and Uprising after the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis police department as well as the visions we are making for a world worthy of us all.

About Keegan Xavi 

Keegan Xavi is a multimedia visual and performance artist, and an arts-based community event producer with experience ranging from collage, experimental theater, photography and documentary work. She has a passion for history, an insatiable desire for research and learning with a fascination with observing and documenting change.
