The Transition Stage

The grief and trauma has been heavy this past year, but as we arrive at the one year memorial of George Floyd’s murder, we carry with us, hope. This community, much like a caterpillar transitioning into a butterfly, is ready to plant the seeds of hope for their future and gather together to rebuild and heal.

We invite the community impacted by the events of the uprising to gather on the corner of Lake Street and Minnehaha to prepare the ground for the community artwork that will be installed this summer. Join us to prepare the soil and plant the seeds of hope as we begin to rebuild-- come one night or both, and bring shovels, trowels, or other garden tools if you have them!
