The Transition Stage Community Events

The Transition Stage by artist Angela Two Stars was co-commissioned by Pangea World Theater and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. 

Longfellow Rising, a group of over 20 community members that includes business owners, residents, nonprofit leaders, and more invites the community impacted by the events of the uprising to gather on the corner of Lake Street and Minnehaha to share their reflections and experiences over the last year. Community members are invited to write down their laments for our city. These shared laments will be woven into an art piece that will be installed at the same location later this summer.

Join your fellow community members on August 25th at 5PM, at 2612 E. Lake Street to share your laments and hopes for the neighborhood. There will be food, beverages, good company, and wishes for the future provided for all.
