Waseem Ahmed is an Egyptian-American Global Studies major at the University of Minnesota, concentrating in African and Middle Eastern Studies. Though relatively new to the theater world, Waseem is a lifelong student of the liberal arts; bringing a spirit of activism, advocacy, and deep community connection to his role as an intern at Pangea World Theater. His lived experience and academic grounding offer direct insight into the very communities Pangea’s art seeks to uplift and engage. Waseem’s passion for diverse cultures and global perspectives is woven throughout his work, strengthening Pangea’s ensemble of multifaceted artists. In addition, his background in business and project management makes him a valuable operational asset that bridges vision and execution as part of the Pangea team.
