From August 15th to the 18th, we had the privilege of working with playwrights Vanessa Mercado Taylor and Edyka Chilomé from Dallas, Texas on their original play Where Earth Meets the Sky—a play that tackles indigenous resistance, white privilege, matriarchy andsocialization.

 

At the end of the week, Sarah Tan, artist intern at Pangea hailing from Singapore, interviewed Vanessa and Edyka and learned more about the story behind the play and their experience with Pangea.
